7582 elder citizens, across the province of Punjab have been recorded to receive COVID-19 vaccine jabs on Friday.
According to the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department official (PSHD) 7,582 people aged above 60 years have been vaccinated against the coronavirus in the province. A total of 207,464 elderly citizens got themselves registered for vaccination, he added.
Since the second drive of vaccination for Coronavirus, a total number of 1,298 people got the first shot at Lahore Expo Centre.
Moreover, a cabinet committee meeting in the presidency of Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar has been called to review the measures taken by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) during the wake of the pandemic.
As per details, government is taking steps to ensure closing all shopping malls, markets and marriage halls within allocated time slots following the prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
