CM Buzdar orders officials to be vigilant to deal with monsoon spell

Lahore    –   Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the administration and other authorities concerned across the province to remain vigilant to deal with the monsoon spell.

According to official sources, the chief minister ordered the administration and officials of the Water And Sanitation Agency (WASA) to ensure timely disposal of rainwater from roads and low-lying areas. The chief minister also ordered them to ensure smooth flow of traffic. 

Usman Buzdar also directed the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and Rescue 1122 to be alert round the clock for prompt relief and rescue operations in case of any untoward incident.

“Every rain related situation should be fully monitored,” he said and made it clear that no negligence on the part of officials would be tolerated. “The best treatment facilities should be provided to the injured,” he added.

CM for best cleanliness arrangements on Eidul Azha

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has ordered the solid waste management companies and the local government institutions to ensure cleanliness on Eidul Azha by effectively removing the offal of animals and other wastes.

“The best cleanliness arrangements should be made across the province. The commissioners and the deputy commissioners should monitor the arrangements,” he added.

The CM announced to personally review the situation of cleanliness on Eid, adding that no negligence would be tolerated. “The citizens’ complaints should be resolved timely as Line Departments are duty-bound to provide clean atmosphere to the citizens,” he said. “The line departments should be fully prepared in the wake of rains,” he added.

CM for foolproof security on Eidul Azha

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the law-enforcement agencies to maintain foolproof security on Eidul Azha. “The security of Eid congregations should be ensured,” he said.

In a statement, the chief minister made it clear that the violation of coronavirus SOPs would not be tolerated in cattle markets. He also ordered an action against dereliction of duties. “Similarly, cleanliness should be ensured in cattle markets. Smooth flow of traffic should also be ensured. Special teams should also be constituted to overcome the menace of one-wheeling,” the CM concluded.

Appeals to people to celebrate Eid with simplicity

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has appealed to the people to celebrate Eidul Azha with simplicity and observe coronavirus SOPs.

In a statement, the CM asked people to maintain social distancing in the public. He also asked them to be vaccinated to remain safe from the fourth coronavirus wave. “The people can remain safe from this virus by observing SOPs during Eid holidays. The situation can lead to restrictions if SOPs are not observed,” the CM concluded.

CM message on Eidul Azha

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has said that Eidul Azha is a blissful occasion of offering the sacrifice and sharing joys and happiness among the people.

In his message, the CM stressed upon the people to share happiness with the impecunious strata because extending joys and ease to the disadvantaged segments was the real message of Eid. “This way, we can please Allah Almighty,” he added and appealed to the people to celebrate Eidul Azha with simplicity in the wake of the fourth coronavirus wave. “The people should fully observe the SOPs to remain safe from this virus,” he stressed and asked them to promote love and affection in the society, setting all differences aside.

The CM also paid rich tributes to the brave security officials for laying their lives in the line of duty.

“The oppressed Kashmiris are celebrating Eid in an environment of oppression and brutality as the Hindu supremacist Modi regime has deprived them of all joys. The Pakistanis firmly stand with their Kashmiri brethren and express complete solidarity with them,” the CM concluded.
