BAHAWALPUR – Bahawalpur Division Commissioner Captain Muhammad Zafar Iqbal while presiding over the meeting of the Divisional Coordination Committee has directed the concerned authorities to complete the development projects across the division in a timely and high standard. The video link meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Irfan Ali Khan Kathia, Deputy Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan Dr Khurram Shehzad, Deputy Commissioner Bahawalnagar Shafqatullah, Director Development and Finance Talib Randhawa and other administrative officers. Estimated cost of Rs2835.085 million was reviewed in detail. It was informed in the meeting that 86 development projects had been completed this year under Community Development Program Phase II. Bahawalpur Commissioner Captain Muhammad Zafar Iqbal said that about 89 development projects under special package at an estimated cost of Rs1200 million were in the process of completion. He said that under the Community Development Program, 57 development schemes of Bahawalpur district, 24 development schemes of Bahao Langar and 91 development schemes of Rahim Yar Khan were under implementation. Commissioner Zafar Iqbal directed that all development projects should be arranged as per the future requirements and public representatives should also be consulted. He directed the officers to make regular field visits to monitor the quality of development projects.
