Five die in separate road accidents

KASUR   –  Five persons lost their lives in different road accidents.

In the first incident, two persons lost their lives in separate accidents in Kasur here on Sunday.

A police spokesperson said that Advocate Ahmed was on his way to Depalpur Road on his motorcycle when an unidentified tractor hit him at Bahadurpura Kasur, killing him on-the-spot. The driver fled the scene.  On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and took the body into custody and shifted it to DHQ Hospital Kasur. 

Saddar Police station Kasur was busy in investigation. In another incident 18-year-old Ahmed drowned while bathing in the Mustafabad canal.

A Rescue team fished out the body and shifted it to DHQ Hospital, Kasur.

In the second incident, a minor kid and his mother died in road mishap at  Khanpur Bagga Sher, a suburban area of Muzaffargarh.

According to Rescue 1122, a citizen namely Hamza Rasheed along with other members of family was going somewhere. All of a sudden, a car hit his bike. Resultantly, his minor kid namely Aamir (6) and his wife Aabida (38) died on the spot while Hamza Rasheed and his daughter Arooj (5) sustained injuries and they were shifted to hospital in precarious condition.

In the third mishap, an eight-year-old boy was hit to death by a car, in Sadar area of tehsil Tandlianwala.

According to police, Ubaid was playing in a bazaar of Chak No 411-GB when a car hit him. He suffered severe injuries and died on the way to hospital. The car driver sped away.

Separately, 80-year-old unidentified man was found dead in street No 20, Razaabad. Locals spotted the body and informed the police. Police shifted the corpse to the dead house of Allied hospital and started search for heirs.
