PESHAWAR: Candidates who had appeared in a test conducted by the KP Public Service Commission for recruitment of civil engineers in the Irrigation and Local Government departments have alleged favouritism and the use of unfair means in the examination.
They demanded the chairman of the commission to conduct an impartial inquiry into the entire process.
A group of candidates approached The News and expressed reservations over the fairness of the test.
They alleged that the candidates who had attempted only 25 percent of the paper managed to secure 90 percent marks which put the exercise under question.
The candidate alleged serious irregularities in the testing process. They said smartphones were allowed for the test and because of that some candidates managed to leak out the paper.
They said an impartial inquiry should be conducted into the matter so that fair play and merit could be ensured.
