RAWALPINDI-Under the direction of Director General (DG) Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Capt (R) Abdul Sattar Isani, the enforcement cell of RDA is continuing its anti-encroachment drive. The Land Development & Estate Management (LD&EM) Directorate RDA’s staff on Tuesday conducted operation against illegal encroachment in residential area of Ghazni Colony, Bagh Sardaran, Rawalpindi and sealed three shops.
These three shops illegally constructed at Plot No. 147 and in occupied open place by Mr. Khawaja Shahzad in violation of Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976 under section.
RDA Spokesman said the Director General RDA Capt. (R) Abdul Sattar Isani has issued directions to LD&EM Directorate to take strict action against encroachments without any fear and favour.
He said LD&EM Directorate’s staff including Assistant Director LD&EM, Inspector encroachment, Scheme Incharge and others conducted the operation with the assistance of Rawalpindi Police from the concerned police station. Following directives of DG RDA, LD&EM Directorate RDA and MP&TE Directorate RDA are actively conducting operations against illegal land use and encroachments, illegally constructed buildings and unapproved housing schemes within the controlled area of RDA in Rawalpindi, he added.
