Sindh working on uplift schemes despite limited resources: Dharejo

KARACHI – Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption & Cooperative Societies Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said on Wednesday that the Sindh government was working on development projects in all corners of Sindh despite limited financial resources due to coronavirus epidemic.

While the third wave of the corona epidemic has reached alarming levels, we all need to tackle the epidemic with caution and keep in mind the dangerous situation in our neighbouring country India. He said this while visiting various villages of Ghotki including his constituency Panu Aqil and offering condolences at various places.

He reached village Hudno Kaladi of Union Council Berri and offered Fateha with Sardar Bagan Khan Kaladi, Kurban Chachar, Naseer Ahmed Chachar, Sardar Pathan Khan Kolachi, Kaman Khan Bhutto in Ghotki City on the demise of their loved ones.

Talking at various places, Dharejo said that due to incompetence and poor policies of the federal government, the country’s economy had gone bankrupt and inflation had taken a toll on the common man due to which the Pakistani people in the by-elections were showing a complete disassociation with the present federal government.

Dharejo said that Sindh was driving the wheel of the country’s economy. “The Sindh government is working well on gas, coal and other mineral resources which are providing new employment opportunities to the youth.”

“PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has directed to establish new industrial zones in the province in order to provide more employment opportunities and all the members of Sindh cabinet under the leadership of Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah are present in the field and are working among their people day and night,” the minister concluded.
