Ristorante Rafele in New York City has created the world’s most expensive cake and which has been acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records.
As grand as the worlds’ luxuries that one can imagine, this cake comes with a price tag of $4592.
The ingredients used in the making of this cake include Buffalo Ricotta, white truffle, 200-year-old Hennessy Paradis cognac, Madagascar Vanilla and gold leaf.
One of the chefs even jokingly admitted that the milk for the cheese comes from Italian water buffalo, who are given exquisite massages and treatment every day.
At $45 per pound, the cheese is one of the most important ingredient of the cake. However, the cake doesn’t include $300 worth of aged unique cognac which is an added kick to the delight.
The cheesecake is garnished with Valrhona chcolate, sparklers and $140 slab of honeycomb.
